We’re delighted to invite you to Teatown’s “A Night in the Woods” – our annual benefit at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club – on Sunday, October 2. Our theme this year is “Caring for the Land: The Heart and Legacy of Teatown,” and we’ll honor State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef, long-time Teatown Board member and passionate conservationist Marguerite Pitts, and Teatown’s Stewardship staff and volunteers. They all embody commitment and dedication to the land, and we’re so grateful for them.
The Gala begins at 5:30pm with cocktails on the lawn overlooking the Hudson River and continues with dinner at 7:00pm.
We’re especially excited about this year’s Silent Auction, which includes a beautiful painting by artist and Teatown neighbor Rosemary A. Hocking-Sanzari. When Rosemary exhibited more than 60 of her works at Teatown’s Visitor Center earlier in 2022, we fell in love with this piece and asked if we might feature it on our Gala invitation. Rosemary agreed – and then generously donated the original work to our Silent Auction! The painting – and many other lovely and unique items – will be on display and available for bidding during the cocktail hour and dinner.
In these challenging economic times, your support is so important to fulfilling our mission: to inspire our community to lifelong environmental stewardship. So please visit our special Gala page – teatown.org/gala

We look forward to welcoming you to “A Night in the Woods” on October 2. It’s sure to be a memorable evening!
